Boys
- Royal blue pullover
- Royal blue tie (available from school office)
- White shirt
- Grey trousers
- Black shoes
Please note that a tie is part of the boys' school uniform and must be worn except in the Summer Term when the boys may wear a white polo shirt.
Girls
- Royal blue pullover/cardigan
- Grey skirt/pinafore
- White blouse
- Black shoes
If the girls choose to wear a shirt rather than a blouse they should wear a tie as well (available from school office). In the summer months the girls may wear light blue gingham summer dresses. In the cold winter months (November through to the end of March) girls are allowed to wear grey trousers.
Please note that from April through to the end of October the agreed uniform for girls is a skirt or dress and not trousers. Girls should not wear colourful socks or tights but are expected to wear only white or black socks or grey or black tights.

Reception Classes
- White polo shirt/blouse
- Royal blue pullover/cardigan
- Grey trousers/skirt/pinafore
- Black shoes
Children in Reception classes do not have to wear a tie.
Shoes
In all cases, black 'sensible' shoes should be worn as part of the school uniform - never trainers or girls fashion shoes or boots.
PE/Games

Polo shirts in house colours - yellow, red, blue and green.
For all children:
- White T-shirt for Reception children
- Polo shirt in house colour for Year 1 to 6 children
- Black shorts
- Plain black pumps (the slip-on type in Reception)
It is suggested that children also have a plain black or navy tracksuit for outdoor games. Labelled sports brands or 'designer' items of clothes are not allowed as part of school PE kit.
In the interests of hygiene all children are expected to change for PE/games lessons and PE/Games kits should be kept in a cloth bag and should remain in school during the week and taken home at week-ends and holidays so that the kit can be washed.
Dress for Swimming
On a rota basis, children attend swimming lessons and will need swimming costumes. Please note that the policy of the local swimming baths does not allow boys to wear baggy or long shorts (trunks are the best option). Girls are required to have their long hair tied back and they not allowed to wear two-piece costumes.
Not Acceptable
There are certain things which are not considered appropriate or acceptable:
- Jeans, trainers and boots should never be worn as part of the school uniform.
- Jewellery is not appropriate in school, especially ear-rings, necklaces and rings.
- Boys must not wear ear studs or ear-rings in school.
- Odd or unusual, severe, decorative or fashionable hairstyles/haircuts are not permitted.
- Mobile phones and electronic games/equipment are not allowed in school.
Children who fail to comply with such requirements and standards may be excluded from school. It is, therefore, very important that all parents ensure that children conform to the school's standards and expectations.
