Raise Online and Fisher Family Trust Data 2011
Each year the DfE produce a report about every school in the country, reviewing the results in national tests. Fisher Family Trust are an independent assessment group who also analyse school data. This is a summary of some of the data.
Our Basic Characteristics
Abbey school is a larger than average school with a greater than national average number of girls. Eligibility for free school meals and the percentage of pupils from ethnic backgrounds is similar to the national average.
Results at KS1
In all subjects at KS1, attainment is just above the national average. Attainment has been significantly above the national average for the past four years.
Results at KS2
At KS2 attainment is significantly above national average in all subjects.
56 out of 61 children achieved level 4 in English of which 16 achieved level 5.
(93% achieved level 4 or above in English, 27% achieved level 5.)
55 out of 61 children achieved level 4 in Mathematics of which 25 achieved level 5.
(92% achieved level 4 or above in Mathematics, 42% achieved level 5.)
88% of children achieved level 4 or above in both English and Maths which is significantly above the national average.
Progress in KS2 is in line with National average.
