Reception

Welcome to the Foundation Stage, the beginning of your child's learning adventure at the Abbey Catholic School.

During this important year your child will be supported by Mrs Bhogal (Phase Leader), Mrs Woulfe (Class Teacher), Mrs Kennedy (Class Teacher), Mrs Evans (Teaching Assistant) and Mrs Barton (Teaching Assistant).

We are all looking forward to working in close partnership with your family as your child continues on their learning journey with us.

All children deserve the best possible start in their education and support to fulfil their potential. Reception year will lay the foundations for your child to become independent, self-motivated and equipped with the skills needed for future school life.
