Liam really enjoyed the recent year 5 residential trip to Alton Castle. He was full of news when he came home with what he had been upto and how busy he had been. Thank you to all the staff involved in making this trip such a superb and exciting experience.

Hello everybody, it has been half a year since I left the amazing Abbey Catholic primary and I am having an excellent first year at my new school, St. Paul's School for girls. I am very happy that I got the chance to come back to the Abbey in January (thank you very much Ms. Tallon for letting me come back and help.) I loved seeing all my friends and all the teachers in the Abbey. On Monday I also saw Mr Barr when I was on the bus going to school. I was very happy to see him. The website is excellent it looks like you are all having a great time!

I attended the Abbey from 2000-2007. It was a great 7 years from what i can remember! I am now in Year 11 at St Edmund Campion School. The school has changed greatly over the last 5 years, particularly since Ms Tallon was appointed Head-Teacher. I was proud to be part of the Abbey Community.

I am an old ex-pupil who left in 2006, it has been 5 years and I am now at my last year at castle vale school, I would love to come and check the abbey out one last time before I go to college, I don't know if the teachers will remember me but hopefully I will be able to come. As an ex-pupil of the fantastic school I love seeing all the great things that are happening. My granddaughter left the abbey in july 2011 she loves looking back at everything, looking at all the diffetnt photos. On the website we saw a picture of her at her new secondary school. St.paul's. Just visited your web site to obtain information about your Christmas play. What a wonderful site! Absolutely all the information that anyone would need. I felt as though I knew the school really well just by browsing through the site. I am a very, very past pupil. i attended the Abbey Primary in 1952-58? and loved the school then but it has obviously gone from strength to strength. I now live in North Yorkshire but hope to be able to visit your school tomorrow for your Christmas performance as my cousin's child is in reception and is in the play. It will be lovely to return and visit the school where I spent so many happy years.

Im an ex-abbey pupil who left in 2011 and im just checking out this website and its fab. Ive always loved going to the abbey because it was a place i could express my feelings.The pupils were kind, the staff were fun and the school is amazing. I'm currently in St.Edmund Campion and have lots of friends and i always think about the abbey. I hope all the current abbey children have a great time.

I am an ex-abbey pupil who left in July and is currently in Bishop Walsh. I loved the abbey because of the great education, catholic ethos and the teachers who helped me achieve my best in everything (including getting level 5's in my SATs). I feel proud to have went to this school and I am having a good time in Bishop Walsh because of how stimulating the lessons are but I shall never forget how exellent this school was. All the best for the future and thank you for helping me, my older siblings and the majority of my family become great people.

We love the Abbey school website and can't wait for more updates in September when we will be in Y5 and Y1. When we look on here we always go on the home page first to look at new updates to see if there is anything exciting on that we have not seen before. I am a ex pupil at the Abbey . It is so lovely to see what goes on in the school now. I go to Sunday mass and see most of the school mases they are lovely. I think that the website is excellent. The Abbey is the best school in the whole wide world because every class gets to go on trips. The teacher are brilliant at anything and they are genourous.

I attended this school from 1949 to 1956 and It was a good school then but now 60 years later it's much better, I love the refurbishments. I have now moved to Ireland but my son James (who attended the abbey from 1981-1988) still lives in Erdington, so when Im back in Erdington i'll come and visit!

Bikability course is a wonderful idea, apart from teaching about riding safely it teaches about looking after the bike and making sure it is roadworthy. Very worthwhile couse, many thanks to all concerned.

G'Day everyone, Just thought I would send you a little message to say how wonderful your new website looks and how much fun you all seem to be having... especially Travelling Ted! I tried to fit Ted in my suitcase but he couldn't fit! Maybe he had eaten too much chocolate over Easter. I am having a great time in Australia and so far I have seen a kangeroo, wallabie, toad, BIG spiders and even a crocodile although luckily no snakes! I have enjoyed visiting the website. I was at the Abbey today tending the family grave and spoke to Ms Tallon, the headmistress. I explained I was an ex pupil of the Abbey Primary going back to the 1960s, and Ms Tallon kindly invited me in and proceeded to show me around the school as it is now. I was highly impressed by the very good condition of the school. The classroom doors were the original -I knew that - but they looked almost new. The classrooms, hall and corridoors were very well maintained/decorated and it all looked very fresh and tidy.It was a pleasure to see the school and a lovely experience for me. Thank you Ms Tallon.

I just want to say, that I am most impressed with all the hard work which has clearly gone into the preparation of the Abbey School Website.
